StoreCred

Comparison

StoreCred vs Redeemly

Redeemly is a well-built cashback app — 4.9 stars across 71 reviews, Built for Shopify, free under 200 orders a month. Two things separate it from StoreCred: it prices by order volume, and it does not do refunds.

The pricing difference is not the headline you'd expect

Redeemly's paid tier starts at $19/month — the same price as StoreCred. So this is not a cheap-versus-expensive comparison. The difference is what the price is attached to.

Where Redeemly is ahead

Under 200 orders a month it is free and we are not. It has 71 reviews and a Built for Shopify badge; we have neither. It ships referrals, storefront balance widgets, and Klaviyo and Judge.me integrations that StoreCred does not have. If you want a cashback and referral programme and refunds are not part of the problem, Redeemly is the stronger choice and it is not close.

Where StoreCred is different

Refunds. Redeemly's listing describes cashback, referrals, campaigns and widgets. It does not mention refunds or returns. StoreCred is built the other way round: a refund is the event that matters, and the app turns it into a credit offer — refund amount plus an optional bonus — that waits for your click before any credit moves.

Flat price, no order ceiling. At 400 orders a month the two apps cost the same. At 1,200 they do not, and StoreCred's bill is the same number it was at 40. If your order volume is seasonal, a flat price is one fewer thing that moves.

How to decide

Count two numbers from Shopify admin: monthly orders, and refunded orders over the last 90 days. Under 200 orders with few refunds, install Redeemly's free plan — genuinely. Above that, with refunds you would rather keep as credit than lose as cash, that is the case for StoreCred.

Redeemly's pricing tiers, rating and features were read from its live Shopify App Store listing on 2026-08-19 and may change — always confirm on the listing before deciding.
